Our busy life just simply would not work without Ruth and Steven. Their flexibility and graciousness literally allows our life with dogs to function, and we would genuinely be lost without them. Our fur kids are safe and very happy with their other mother, and loved as much as we love them.

Ruth is amazing. She has walked and cared for our cocker spaniel for well over 7 years. She goes that extra mile to be flexible and has helped me out so many times I can’t remember. Our dog is almost blind and Ruth and Steven take her disability into account and look after her like she was their own. Thank you for everything x

Ruth has been our dogs ‘other mother’ for nearly 9 years. Ruth and Steven are family. Initially we started with daily walks, which our dogs looked forward to every day. When one of our girls needed surgeries (hip replacement, then a few years later knee replacements), Ruth kept our dogs all day for day care and helped nursed her back to health like she was her own. As they got older and needed a bit more TLC, Ruth continued to have them for day care. When our girl was no longer able to go on walks, Steven refused to leave her behind, and carried her, so she could continue to go out with her friends. When our old boy lost his marbles, his eyesight and his hearing, Ruth and Steven were equally as kind and gentle -
We now have two young dogs, Milo and Poppy, which Ruth and Steven have cared for since we brought them home as babies. When they pull into our drive in the morning, M&P wiggle and dance and run out the front door, jumping straight into the Waggy Tails pup mobile without looking back. They LOVE Ruth and Steven -
Our dogs have always stayed at their Waggy Tails holiday camp any time we’re away. I travel a lot for work, and Ruth and Steven are always incredibly flexible about keeping overnight, or amending schedules.
Ruth and Steven are DEPENDABLE. In 9 years, Ruth has never taken a sick day or not been able to do her job for any reason. They have never, ever let us down. Not once. In fact, quite the opposite. In emergencies when we’ve been unable to get home, Ruth has gone back to our house to pick them up and take them home again to hers. She’s let me into my house when I’ve locked myself out, and once, even got my passport to me at St Pancras when I’d left it at home.
